Make a Planned Gift

There are many flexible planned giving options that can benefit both your financial and philanthropic goals. Some examples may include:

Giving Through Bequests: By including a bequest provision to AMA in your will, you can support AMA while retaining control of your assets during your lifetime. Below is sample language to make a bequest to AMA:

“I hereby give [$_________ / ___% of the residue of my estate / the residue of my estate] to AMA Foundation, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation, for its general purposes.”

We also suggest including the following official identification information:
AMA Foundation
Address
Tax ID Number

Giving Retirement Assets: By naming AMA as a beneficiary of your retirement assets (e.g., IRA, 401(k), or other qualified retirement accounts), you may save your estate from paying income and estate taxes on those assets

Giving Life Insurance Policies: By naming AMA as an owner and beneficiary of a life insurance policy, you may be able to claim tax deductions for your gift

This information is not intended to be legal or tax advice. Donors are encouraged to consult with an attorney or other professional advisors in making a bequest to AMA.

Please let us know once you have arranged a gift. We would be honored to recognize your generosity and the continued impact you will have on present and future AMA scholars.
