Notification of How to Initiate Mental Health Services
Academy of Media Arts is dedicated to supporting the social emotional well-being of our scholars and stakeholder community. It is important to know that you can always ask for help if you are struggling emotionally or mentally and need support. We encourage every stakeholder to talk to someone about your needs and to utilize the recourses available to you all. First, we offer human-to-human care and want all students, educators, parents, and community to know without a doubt that AMA is here to assist in any initiation of mental health services needed.
How to Initiate Mental Health Services in the Community

- If you are at risk of suicide or want to help someone at risk, please contact the Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-8255
- If you have an emergency or need immediate help, please dial 911.
